It was initially detected by just one vendor, but now there are 15 vendors flagging this page as malicious. ConcealBrowse intervened with a 20% risk score, citing poor reputation and suspicious behavior.
The IP address associated with this page has been seen downloading files containing the Smokeloader malware onto unsuspecting devices. Smokeloader is a family of malware that installs backdoors and allow other malware to be installed on infected devices. Users are more likely to respond to someone they recognize, putting other accounts at risk for compromise.
